Shipping policy

1. Order Processing

  • Processing time: Orders are prepared and shipped after payment confirmation within the following timeframe:
    • Same business day for all orders placed before noon.
    • Next business day for orders placed after 12:00 PM.
  • Pre-shipment checks: All medical instruments are inspected to ensure their integrity and compliance with Health Canada regulations before shipping.
  • Exceptional delays: In case of stock shortages or recalls, you will be notified by email within 24 hours and offered either a refund or expedited reshipment.

2. Shipping Options and Costs

  • Canada Standard:
    • Delivery within 3 to 5 business days.
    • Flat fee of $14.90 CAD (free for orders over $99.99 CAD).
  • Canada Express:
    • Delivery within 1 to 2 business days.
    • Flat fee of $25.90 CAD (free for orders over $199.99 CAD).
  • Carriers: We work with UPS, Purolator, and Canada Post to ensure secure delivery.

3. Delivery Timelines

  • Timelines include both processing and shipping time, but exclude:
    • Weekends and public holidays.
    • Delays due to weather conditions or customs inspections (for orders outside Quebec/Ontario).
  • Real-time tracking: A tracking number will be emailed as soon as the package ships.

4. Packaging Requirements

  • Strict protocols:
    • Sterile and sealed packaging for single-use devices.
    • Shock-resistant materials for fragile instruments.

5. Signature and Security

  • Signature required: All deliveries require a signature upon receipt.
  • Insurance included: All parcels are insured against loss or damage during transit.

6. Service Areas

  • Canada only: We ship to all provinces and territories, except:
    • Remote areas (e.g., Nunavut, Northern Quebec), where additional fees may apply.
  • Professional address required: Orders must be delivered to a clinic, care center, or registered medical facility.

7. Delivery Issues

  • Damaged package:
    1. Do not accept the package if visibly compromised.
    2. Take photos and contact us immediately at info@magaliesinstruments.com
    3. A free replacement will be shipped within 48 hours.
  • Lost package:
    • File a claim if there is no tracking update after 10 business days. We will handle the claim with the carrier.

8. Recalls and Emergencies

  • In the event of a recall issued by Health Canada or Magalies Instruments:
    • Return shipping will be covered via a prepaid label.
